How can we build ethical systems? There's no doubt that the machine learning based artificial intelligent systems are based on exisiting data sources. If these data sources are biased, the models that we end up building will be biased. As they famously say, garbage-in, garbage out9. Who is currently producing the data? If the machine learning algorithms perform online learning with the data coming directly from the social networking services, we will see behaviors contrary to the democratic priniciples and the rule of law. One may wonder, whether it is to high time to remove the anonymity behind the social new sites and completely ban anonymous accounts9 so that there is an accountability behind every action performed by agents: individuals or instiutions. These questions are tending towards the need for transparency9 in such systems. Which data are being used to fed these systems? Did the producers give the consent to use their data? Did the producers know how their data will be used. This requires that individuals are aware of such systems. They cannot remain and drowse in the state of ignorance and we require public debate on such systems9. Furthermore, exterior reviews must be put in place for systems using user-generated content and decision models. Without a doubt, there are advantages of data sharing. We have seen its importance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet, there must be some more reflections on the use of personal data. An ethical system, especially autonomous systems9 must be based on the consent. With the growing explosion of autonomous decision making systems for driving, legal decisions, etc. the users must know about the basics of such systems and their limits instead of blindly trusting them.
