lessons: thinking that I know the objects and their details before drawing, but while drawing it requires to cross-check with real photographs for minute details
lessons learned from tracing a self-portrait from a photograph, hand tracing an image using bezier curves and then simplifying the path (reducing the number of nodes), instead of automated tracing option in inkscape
before starting, it was much easier to sketch with pen/pencil on a piece of paper than using inkscape
