John Samuel
I am John Samuel, a researcher and educator working at the intersection of multilingual computing, knowledge graphs (Wikidata/Wikibase), and data/AI education. I design and maintain open-source tools for cultural heritage, inclusive and multilingual technologies, and data integration, and I publish my teaching material with DOIs for reuse in the classroom and beyond. My work spans data integration and warehouses, semantic web and description logics, machine learning and text/data mining, with a strong focus on reproducible, open, and multilingual resources.
Featured works
- Research software: Wikidata/Wikibase tools (e.g., Awesome Wikidata ecosystem, WDProp, WikiProvenance), multilingual and inclusive computing projects (MultilingualCL, inclusive, mlscores), and cultural heritage initiatives such as Queer Memory.
- Teaching material : Open courses on C programming, data science, machine learning, deep learning, text and data mining, and AI, many with archived releases and DOIs for citation and reuse.
